Our Expertise

Lead consultant, Dr. Alicia Powers, has over 14 years of experience in the non-profit, private and public sector. Her experience includes conducting local, state and national policy research, leading large-scale multi-site program evaluations and reporting research findings to diverse audiences.

Previous research projects included evaluating No Child Left Behind policy, identifying students at risk of school failure, and studying the impact of Hurricane Katrina on student achievement. She has presented her research findings at several national conferences and agencies.

She also has teaching experience teaching data analysis and management courses to graduate students at Carnegie Mellon University and University of Maryland University College Graduate School of Management and Technology.
